Inspect Pipeline data without leaving the view

R41 adds a new Inspect experience in Pipeline so users can drill into selected fields, see record counts, and view total amounts in one place. It also makes it easier to keep important notes close at hand with starring.

Pipeline and notes updates

[pipeline] A new Inspect option is now available alongside Starring, Filters, and Group By

[pipeline] Inspect opens a side panel where users can select fields for deeper analysis

[pipeline] For each selected field value, users can see both record count and total amount

[pipeline] Multiple fields can be layered to drill down into Pipeline data step by step

[pipeline] Inspect field order can be rearranged as needed

[workspace] Notes can now be starred or unstarred directly from the list view

[workspace] A Star button is now available in the top toolbar of the note editor

[workspace] Starred notes stay pinned at the top of the list view, even when filters or sorting are applied

[workspace] A new Starred Notes folder is now available in Global Notes

[workspace] Users can now switch between See All, See Starred, and Clear Starred within the current folder

Ask AI from the sidebar

R40.1 adds a new Ask AI experience for opportunity questions, makes forecasting edits easier from the bottom drawer, and adds better visibility into analytics freshness.

[agentic] Users can ask questions about opportunity data from a dedicated Ask AI page

More flexible forecasting and quota management

R40 expands forecasting period coverage, makes quota updates easier for admins, and improves how teams work with notes and collections inside Workspace.

[forecasting] Forecasting now supports up to five previous quarters and five upcoming quarters

[forecasting] Users can now submit forecast calls for all available upcoming quarters

[forecasting] Period selection is now organized into Current, Upcoming Quarters, Previous Quarters, and Fiscal Year

[forecasting] Admins can now download current quota data as a CSV, update it, and upload it back in bulk

[workspace] Collections are now available inside the Fields pane in SObject Workspace

Better forecasting data refresh and performance

R39.3 improves how forecasting data stays up to date by making Regular and Quota cards refresh more efficiently, while still giving users control over when to apply updates.

[forecasting] Regular cards and Quota cards now refresh automatically every 15 minutes

[forecasting] A new Update Data option lets users fetch the latest data manually

[forecasting] After new data is fetched, users can apply it using View Update

[forecasting] Forecast Call cards are not affected by this new refresh flow

Also included: smaller performance improvements to make the Forecasting page smoother and more efficient.

Small workflow improvements across forecasting, notes, and workspace

R39.2 includes a set of smaller updates that reduce clicks, make collaboration easier, and improve day-to-day navigation across MaxIQ.

[pipeline] Level-based view sharing now includes a Select All option for nested levels under a selected parent level

[workspace] Comments in Notes now appear in a right-side sidebar for easier review and collaboration

[workspace] Editing Date fields in Record Workspace now takes fewer clicks

[forecasting] Clicking a record name in Submit Forecast now opens the Workspace directly

[forecasting] If no Workspace is configured for that SObject, MaxIQ opens the Collection instead

[forecasting] Forecasting config pop-ups in the Admin Panel now stay open when an error occurs, so users can fix it without starting over

[platform] A new Action Pending button in the sidebar prompts users to connect Gmail or Calendar

[platform] The button takes users directly to Linked Applications in Settings

Small usability updates across forecasting and Pipeline

R39.1 includes a few smaller updates to make forecasting access clearer and Pipeline easier to use.

[workspace] Record names now display the company logo when an account name is available, with a default logo fallback

[forecasting] Users with read-only Forecasting access can no longer open Submit Forecast

[forecasting] The Submit Forecast button now appears disabled for read-only users

[pipeline] Pipeline column headers now include an Options button for sorting

[pipeline] Column headers are now highlighted on hover for better visibility

Also fixed: an issue where some users saw a “Something went wrong” error after clicking Submit Forecast, along with smaller bug fixes and performance improvements across the platform.

Edit individual sub-category amounts in Submit Forecast

R38.1 gives teams more control during forecast submission by letting users adjust sub-category amounts at the record level. Admins can enable the feature globally, and users can turn it on or off while working in Submit Forecast.

[forecasting] An Edit Record Amounts setting is now available under Admin Panel → Forecasting → General

[forecasting] Users can also turn Edit Record Amounts on or off directly from the Submit Forecast page

[forecasting] A Reset Edited Value option lets users restore the original record amount

[forecasting] If reps edit amounts and managers have the feature disabled, the updated values appear as greyed-out text in the Roll-Up tab

Also included: more flexibility for record-level forecast adjustments without changing the default admin setup.

A faster, easier Settings experience

R38 redesigns Settings to reduce clicks and make navigation easier. It also adds AI-powered collection updates from linked notes and brings Salesforce fields into Sales Methodology setup.

EchoIQ is now available in MaxIQ

EchoIQ brings conversation intelligence into MaxIQ. It can join meetings, record and transcribe conversations, and generate insights and follow-ups so teams can better track customer conversations and next steps.

More flexible Group By views in Pipeline

R39 makes Pipeline analysis more useful with aggregate calculations, flexible grouped views, and easier sharing and export options. It also adds richer collaboration inside Notes.

A cleaner Forecast Grid with more visible data

R36 makes forecasting easier to read and review with a cleaner layout, clearer value changes, and a more consistent grid structure. It also adds shared view URLs in Pipeline and improves the sidebar experience.

[forecasting] Manager and Team forecast cards are now combined into a single card to reduce clutter

[forecasting] Users can side-scroll to view more Call Cards and use Show Cards to reveal more regular cards

[forecasting] Repetitive “Team” labels have been removed for a cleaner grid

Better funnel visibility and cleaner forecasting review

R35 improves how teams analyze conversion trends and review forecast changes. It also adds more control in Pipeline and simplifies how activity is accessed in Workspace.

[analytics] Conversion Funnel now includes opportunities based on close date within the selected timeframe

[analytics] Earlier stages are automatically included to keep the funnel complete, even when deals are created later in the process

[forecasting] Out-of-scope records are now excluded from sub-category counts in the Forecasting bottom drawer

[forecasting] A new Moved Out Records button lets users review records that moved out of scope

[workspace] Email is now available under the Engagement tab as a switchable view

Related Objects now available in Pipeline

Users can now add related lists as columns in Pipeline and view more context without leaving the table. Each column shows a quick summary, and clicking into it opens the full related list in a detailed pop-up.

R34 also moves analytical charts into a dedicated Analytics area, gives admins direct control over Linearity chart setup, and improves visibility in forecast call history.
