Self-Service Analytics

Summary

What is Self-Service Analytics?

Self-Service Analytics is the user-defined analytics layer in MaxIQ. While system-defined views like Waterfall and Linearity cover standard pipeline and pacing analysis, Self-Service Analytics lets teams build their own questions, create custom dashboards, and drill into any data set relevant to their work. No code required. No IT request needed. It connects to the same data that powers pipeline inspection and forecasting, so custom views always reflect the current state of the business.

How to Access

  • From the Sidebar, select Analytics
  • Expand User Defined to view published dashboards
  • Select a dashboard to explore, or create a new question

Key Capabilities

  • Interactive exploration: filter, summarise, and visualise any configured data source
  • Custom questions: build views around specific business metrics or team needs
  • Unified dashboards: combine multiple charts into one organised view
  • Drill-down: click chart elements to see the individual records behind the summary
  • Export: download dashboards as PDF, or individual charts as CSV, XLSX, JSON, or PNG

User Access

Standard users can view published dashboards, apply filters, explore data, and download charts. Admins control which dashboards are published and which data sources are available. This keeps data consistent while giving every team member the ability to find answers on their own.
