What is an SObject?
SObjects are the standard and custom data tables in Salesforce. Every Opportunity, Account, Contact, or custom record your team works with is an instance of an SObject. MaxIQ reads from these objects to display pipeline data and drive forecasting submissions across the platform.
How SObjects Work in MaxIQ
Admins configure which SObjects are available across MaxIQ features, including pipeline inspection, notes, and action item linking. Once configured, records from those objects appear in the relevant views and can be linked, tracked, and analysed.
- Standard SObjects include Opportunity, Account, Contact, and Lead
- Custom SObjects follow the Custom c naming convention in Salesforce
- Admin configuration controls which SObjects appear in forecasting calls, notes, and action items
