What is a Configuration?
Configurations are admin-controlled settings that define how MaxIQ behaves for the team. There are two main types: Forecasting Configurations, which control forecast categories, views, and call types; and Homepage Configurations, which control the cards, tables, and metrics shown on the main dashboard.
Admins configure the platform once for the team. Standard users interact with the results. This means the same pipeline inspection setup applies consistently across reps and managers without each user needing to configure their own experience.
Configuration Types
- Forecasting Configuration: sets categories, views, call types, and submission rules
- Homepage Configuration: sets which cards, tables, and metrics appear on the dashboard
- SObject Configuration: controls which Salesforce objects are available across features
- Playbook Configuration: sets up sales methodology frameworks and insight triggers
