What are Fields?
Fields are the data columns within a Salesforce Object. Each field holds one piece of information about a record. An Opportunity has dozens of standard fields out of the box, plus any custom fields your admin has created.
MaxIQ surfaces fields in views, columns, and filters. Admins choose which fields appear in each context, keeping the interface focused on the metrics that matter for pipeline health and forecast calls.
Common Field Types
- Text: name, description, stage
- Currency: amount, ARR, contract value
- Date: close date, created date, last activity date
- Picklist: stage, opportunity type, forecast category
- Lookup: account name, owner, related contact
