What is a Record?

A record is one row in a Salesforce Object table. When you open an Opportunity in MaxIQ, you are viewing a record. When you submit a forecast, you are including specific records in your submission. All pipeline data, forecast calls, and account activity in MaxIQ traces back to individual records.

MaxIQ reads records from Salesforce in real time. Any update to a record in Salesforce reflects immediately in MaxIQ, which keeps pipeline inspection and forecasting data current without manual syncing.

Record Examples

  • An Opportunity with a close date, stage, and amount
  • An Account with a contract value and renewal date
  • A Contact with a title, email, and engagement history
  • A custom object specific to your sales process
