What are Questions?

Questions are the interactive prompts inside MaxIQ playbooks and the self-service analytics layer. In playbooks, questions guide reps through key deal qualification criteria, ensuring important discovery points are covered on every call. In analytics, questions are the building blocks of custom dashboards: each chart starts as a question about the data.

Questions in playbooks map directly to the sales methodology the team uses. If the methodology is MEDDPICC, the playbook questions cover Metrics, Economic Buyer, Decision Criteria, and so on. EchoIQ can also evaluate whether call content answers these questions automatically.

Two Types of Questions

  • Playbook questions: structured prompts tied to a sales methodology, used to guide deals and score calls
  • Analytics questions: data exploration prompts used to build custom charts and dashboards in the user-defined analytics layer
